No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after the Wednesday preceding the event.
The event will proceed irrespective of weather conditions on the day.
Late Cancellations
The undersigned acknowledges that no refund will be issued if notice of cancellation is not provided to Red Star Raceway at least 24 hours prior to the event.
For the purpose of this agreement, the event start time shall be deemed to be 06:00 on the event date specified on this entry form.

Release, Waiver, and Indemnification
The undersigned acknowledges that participation in activities at Red Star Raceway involves the use of high-speed vehicles and inherently dangerous activities. Red Star Electrical (Pty) Ltd t/a Red Star Raceway (hereinafter “the Raceway”), its members, directors, employees, or agents shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury—whether direct, indirect, or consequential—arising from participation in any activity or presence on Raceway property.
This includes, but is not limited to, losses or injuries caused by:
- Acts or omissions of the Raceway or its representatives;
- Natural causes such as rain or other weather conditions;
- Riots, strikes, theft, vandalism, or burglary;
- Structural defects, facility conditions, or mechanical failures;
- Accidents caused by other participants or third parties; or
- Any other unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances (force majeure).
The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Raceway, its members, directors, employees, and agents against all claims, costs, damages, or legal expenses (including attorney’s fees) resulting from any personal injury, death, or property damage sustained on or about Raceway property.
This indemnification extends to the undersigned’s spouse, heirs, successors, representatives, agents, and assigns.
The undersigned further confirms that he/she:
- Has read and will comply with all safety rules and Raceway instructions;
- Accepts that medical and emergency services provided on-site are adequate;
- Accepts full responsibility for any medical costs arising from injury or ambulance transport;
- Agrees to abide by all Motorsport South Africa (MSA) regulations; and
- Understands and accepts the terms of this waiver and indemnity.
Rules and Regulations
- Riding or driving against the track direction or in the pit lane is strictly prohibited.
- Wheelies, burnouts, and endos are not permitted on the track or in the pit area.
- Racing or drag starts are allowed only during officially organised sessions.
- Intimidation or unsafe overtaking of other riders/drivers is strictly prohibited.
- All participants must obey instructions from marshals, instructors, and organisers at all times.
- An ILS paramedic and ambulance are present at all track days.
- No vehicle may enter the track before the official opening or remain on track after the official closure by the chief marshal.
- Pit lane speed limit: 30 km/h maximum.
- Remain on the right-hand side of the pit lane until opposite your allocated garage.
- Sessions are typically 25 minutes long, subject to change by organisers.
- Maximum 30 participants are allowed on track at any one time, unless otherwise authorised.
- Novice Group (C/D): Overtaking only on straights; not in turns.
- Intermediate Group (B): Overtaking permitted on the outside during corner entry only.
- Advanced/Fast Group (A): Overtaking allowed anywhere, provided it is safe and non-intimidating.
- Session structures may vary based on entries and participant levels.
- Do not stop or pull off the track unless instructed by marshals.
- Do not stop at an incident on track; marshals will manage all incidents.
- Helmets with shackles are prohibited in Groups A and B.
- Back protection is strongly recommended for all riders.
- Riders wearing Kevlar jeans may only participate in Groups C or D.
- If injured, you must allow medics to conduct a proper examination.
- In the event of rain or force majeure, no refunds will be issued.
- No alcohol or illegal substances may be consumed during or between sessions.
- All participants must complete daily indemnity forms before entering the track.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are roadworthy and track-ready; the Raceway accepts no liability for damage or loss.
- Parking and camping are at participants’ own risk.
- Pillion or passenger rides are allowed only in Group C, and only after the passenger has signed a separate indemnity form.
- The Raceway reserves the right to suspend, ban, or remove any participant (or their associates) found guilty of misconduct, theft, vandalism, or failure to comply with Raceway rules.
Right of admission is reserved.
